Since the art portion of Swarm is pretty much wrapped (and an update coming on that soon), I guess it’s time to get back to these guys again (or get to in the first place, in some cases)!
…You know, it’s actually been long enough that a lot of you may have never been Sandgate readers. Which is kinda crazy to me! Sandgate was a webcomic I drew/wrote from 2006 to 2010 (although there were two pages in 2011 during a terribly botched revival). You can read it here, but be forewarned that I started this comic when I was 16 years old. It has… a rocky start.
Like, seriously, it looks like a toddler did the first 20ish pages. I was still learning Photoshop.
Anyway, I’m thinkin’ I’m gonna do a reboot! Sandgate and failed promises are like peanut butter and jelly, so I won’t say anything official, but I’d like to get back to these characters and this story. I’ve been at it for so long already, it’s sort of ingrained in me, for better or for worse. =/
